Privacy Policy
Last updated July 8, 2026
This policy explains what personal data Centinion collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Centinion you agree to this policy.
1. What we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and (if you sign in with Google or X) your avatar and the provider's account identifier.
- Content you create — the centinions you post, the answer options, the opinions you give, and any reports you file.
- Authentication data — a securely hashed password and, if you enable it, two-factor and passkey credentials.
- Technical data — basic log information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, used to keep the service secure and working.
- Cookies — we use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your session. We do not use them for third-party advertising.
2. How we use your data
- To operate Centinion — create your account, record your opinions, count them toward 100, and show results.
- To communicate with you — for example, to notify you when a centinion you created reaches 100 opinions.
- To keep the platform safe — to prevent abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and review reported content.
3. How we share it
We do not sell your personal data. Your name may appear publicly as the author of a centinion you create. We share data only with the service providers that help us run Centinion (for example, hosting and authentication providers such as Google and X when you choose to sign in with them), or when required by law.
4. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from your settings. When you do, we anonymize the content you contributed — your centinions and opinions remain to keep past results accurate, but they are detached from your identity and no longer linked to you.
5. Data retention and security
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise many of these directly in your account settings, or by contacting us at the address below.
7. Children
Centinion is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date above.
