1. Acceptance of these terms

Centinion lets you ask a question, collect exactly 100 opinions — a centinion — and share the result. By creating an account, posting a centinion, giving an opinion, or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Centinion.

2. Your account

You need an account to create a centinion or give an opinion. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Centinion. Provide accurate information and do not impersonate anyone.

3. Content you post

You keep ownership of the questions, answer options, and opinions you submit ("your content"). By posting it, you grant Centinion a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and share that content so we can operate the site — for example, showing a centinion, its results, and shareable infographics. You are solely responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to post it.

4. Acceptable use — prohibited content

Centinion is meant for honest questions and opinions. You may not create, post, or promote content that is:

• Hateful or discriminatory — attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or similar protected characteristics.
• Harassing or bullying — targets, intimidates, or shames an individual or group.
• Violent or threatening — threatens, incites, or glorifies violence, or promotes self-harm.
• Sexual or NSFW — sexually explicit or pornographic material, and any sexual content involving minors, which is strictly forbidden and will be reported to the authorities.
• Illegal — content that is unlawful or promotes illegal activity, including the sale of illegal goods.
• Dangerously misleading — disinformation that risks real-world harm to health, safety, or democratic processes.
• Spam or a scam — deceptive, fraudulent, or purely promotional content, phishing, or malware.
• Infringing or private — content that violates intellectual-property rights, or exposes another person's private information (doxxing) without consent.
• Impersonation — pretending to be another person, brand, or organisation.

You also may not abuse the platform technically — for example by scraping, overloading, or interfering with the service, or by manipulating results with fake or automated accounts.

5. Moderation and removal

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without notice, to review, hide, edit, or remove any centinion, answer option, or opinion that we believe violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable, and to remove its associated opinions. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that break the rules. We are not obligated to monitor content, but we may do so.

If you come across a centinion that breaks these rules, please report it using the "Report" option on the centinion's page. Reports go to our moderators for review.

6. Termination

You may stop using Centinion and delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms. When you delete your account, we anonymize the content you contributed as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Centinion is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Opinions collected on the site reflect the views of the people who submitted them, not Centinion, and are not a scientific or representative survey. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Centinion is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use Centinion after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
